A share of 73 Renault Trucks E-Tech D and D Wide electric trucks will be in charge of cleaning the city of Barcelona, Spain. In fact, the trucks will be employed for municipal waste collection and maintenance in the capital of Catalunya. The companies CLD Sorigué, Urbaser, and Valoriza (Sacyr Group) chose the electric trucks manufactured in France to provide 73 fully electric trucks that will soon hit the streets in Barcelona.

The first batch, including rear loaders, sweeper-sprayers and a tipper, have been delivered and the vehicles are already hard at work in the city’s streets.
Renault Trucks was able to offer the ideal solution to this complex public tender, among which rear loaders (single and dual-compartment), side loaders (right and left), sweeper-sprayer tankers, tipper and crane trucks, lifting hooks, and low-entry cabs for greater operator comfort are included.
