50 Podıums For Ds Automobiles In Formula E
After securing a 2nd place at the Berlin E-Prix, DS Automobiles now has 50 podiums since its involvement in the ABB FIA Formula E world championship.
Entering competition in 2015, DS Automobiles has always been one of the key players in electric motorsport with three generations of Formula E. Today, with a total of 115 races completed, the Brand has 4 championship titles (Teams and Drivers), 16 victories, 50 podiums and 23 pole positions.
Today, thanks to the performance of the DS E-TENSE FE23 and the talent of Jean-Eric Vergne (only double FE champion) and Stoffel Vandoorne (2022 world champion), DS Automobiles and its partner PENSKE AUTOSPORT are ranked at 4th place in the Teams championship, just 17 points from the podium.
There are now 6 races remaining before the end of season 10 and there is no doubt that the French brand will deploy all its know-how to continue to write the history of Formula E.
The next E-Prix will take place in Shanghai (China) on May 25 and 26, 2024.
Eugenio Franzetti, Director of DS Performance:
“50 podiums out of 115 races are figures that say a lot about the sustainability of our involvement in the electric series and the talent of our team! I am thinking particularly of our drivers, our engineers and our mechanics who are the main players in the magnificent DS Performance track record since season 2. There have been and will be more complicated moments but we can proudly say that DS is an iconic FE brand and that our team will continue to set ambitious goals for the future!”
