Citroën Has Refined İts Trim Level Naming Strategy
Citroën has announced a streamlined vehicle range, launching three new trim levels: YOU, PLUS and MAX, which replace the existing Sense, Sense Plus, Shine and Shine Plus nomenclature.
Citroën will be able to offer solutions more closely tailored
This overhaul – which opens to orders from Friday 1 September – is a response to new consumer trends, connecting customers and the Citroën sales network to facilitate clearer and more transparent commercial offers. In promoting a better understanding of the range, its trim levels, and the options available, Citroën’s new line-up simplifies the customer purchase process to enhance consumer trust in the brand. By offering appropriate trim levels with attractive equipment levels and well-defined option packages, Citroën will be able to offer solutions more closely tailored to the needs and lifestyles of its customers.
The new streamlined range is inspired by Citroën’s drive to simplify the consumer experience, whilst also promoting fair pricing and improved delivery times. This approach has been devised through analysis of new consumer habits, particularly with the rise of a more compact digital world and Citroën is continuing desire to move towards an even fairer and more balanced pricing policy.
A Simplified Range, Tailored To Customer Needs
The simplified model range consists of three new trim levels: YOU, PLUS and MAX. This redefinition has resulted in a more concise line-up, making it easier for customers to understand the various trim levels, standard equipment, and options available. Each product offering is carefully designed to meet customer needs, with trim levels adapted to customer preferences and lifestyles.
The range is defined by Citroën’s commitment to providing effortless style and supreme comfort. For C4 and C4 X, for example, the entry-level YOU trim provides direct access to the world of Citroën comfort, with standard equipment such as Advanced Comfort Suspension® and Advanced Comfort Seats®, a high level of connectivity with a 10-inch touchscreen combined with wireless smartphone mirroring, and driving assistance systems such as rear parking sensors.
The PLUS trim amplifies the Citroën experience with a head-up display, a rear-view camera, and connected navigation. Finally, the specification enhancements offered by the MAX versions add equipment to make on-board life easier, with hands-free access and adaptive cruise control featuring the Stop & Go function. The comfortable ride and ease of use are augmented by Citroën’s unique style, with dark-tinted rear windows and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels also being offered. Additional ‘collection’ versions will continue to be offered as highlights of each model range, such as the electric ë-Series collection for ë-C4, ë-C4 X, and C5 Aircross Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid.
An Improved Customer Experience
In reviewing its product range, Citroën has reaffirmed its desire to improve the buying experience for its customers, while reducing costs, and delivery lead times. Citroën is committed to meeting the needs and wants of its customers, and one of the tools used to achieve this is the Citroën Advisor programme. Citroën Advisor enables customers to post comments and opinions on products, sales outlets, and service offerings in a completely transparent way.
With a more clearly defined range, the buying process becomes less complex and the overall experience becomes smoother. Whether purchasing from Citroën’s retailer network or via the online Citroën Store, a streamlined range of vehicles, closely tailored to customer expectations, will foster a climate of trust and transparency when buying.
