Honda Adds New Sport-L Equipment to Its Best-Selling SUV
The well-equipped new CR-V Sport-L features leather seats, a power tailgate, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and wireless smartphone charging. The 2024 Honda CR-V will begin arriving in Honda dealerships on June 14 with an expanded lineup featuring a new hybrid-electric powered Sport-L trim to amp up its appeal to young and active buyers. Consistently the best-selling Honda SUV, the Honda CR-V includes three turbocharged trims: LX, EX and EX-L, plus three hybrid-powered trims: Sport, the new Sport-L and Sport Touring. The hybrid-electric models are positioned at the top of the lineup and now represent more than 50% of CR-V sales.
Complelely redesigned for the 2023 model year, the award-winning 6th generation CR-V features a rugged and sophisticated exterior, a sporty and modern interior and an emotional, adventurous and fun-to-drive experience. The 2024 Honda CR-V LX 2WD has a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)1 of $29,500 (excluding $1,295 destination charge). Hybrid-electric powered models start with the 2024 CR-V Sport 2WD at $33,350 MSRP.

The new hybrid-electric powered 2024 CR-V Sport-L 2WD ($36,350 MSRP) joins the lineup between the turbocharged CR-V EX-L and range-topping Sport Touring hybrid model. The well-equipped CR-V Sport-L features leather seats, a power passenger seat, front and rear parking sensors and a power tailgate. A 9-inch touchscreen with a physical volume knob, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, Qi-compatible 15W wireless smartphone charging, an 8-speaker audio system and Low Speed Braking Control are also standard.
Bold gloss black exterior accents, rectangular exhaust finishers and Berlina Black 18-inch wheels add style and presence. For better traction management in all driving conditions, Honda’s award-winning Real Time All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Control™ is available.
Featuring Honda’s advanced 4th generation two-engine hybrid system
CR-V hybrid models represent a key step in the Honda electrification strategy. More than 50% of CR-V sales are hybrid-electric models featuring Honda’s advanced 4th-generation two-motor hybrid system. Combined system output is 2044 hp and 247 lb.-ft. of torque for a fuel-efficient, sporty and capable driving experience.
Moreover, the hybrid powertrain brings a major fuel economy rating increase compared to the 1.5L Turbo powertrain, with an EPA city rating of 43 mpg in the city for Sport and Sport-L versus 28 mpg for EX/EX-L, and a combined rating of 40 mpg for Sport and Sport-L versus 30 mpg for EX/EX-L (all with 2WD).
